Who We Are

A little bit about us....

We are a group of Christians who proclaim the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ intending to make disciples of all nations. Teaching them all things and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:18

Our Purpose

We believe that there is a living God who has a plan for mankind that offers the true meaning of life. We believe that the Bible, which clearly outlines this plan is the inspired Word of God and is authoritative for our faith, worship and conduct in all phases of our lives. Accordingly, we hold the following statements as truth.

God’s requirements for righteous living are clearly outlined in the Bible. Failure to meet these requirements is defined as sin.

Man is sinful by nature and is in conflict with God’s requirements.

The expressed penalty for sin is eternal punishment, but God loved mankind and provided a way to escape the sin penalty.

This required a substitute to pay the penalty in man’s place.

The resurrection of Christ from death and His ascension into heaven are proofs that His sacrifice was acceptable to God. This event was witnessed by the apostles and others.

To all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and accept His death in their place God has promised a new life. This new life is full and meaningful here on earth and is a joyful, eternal life in heaven.

All those who possess the new life in Christ are formed into a body of believers – the one true church.

This new life results in a desire to obey God as instructed by Christ and His apostles in the Scriptures, and as guided by the Holy Spirit.

The desire to know and obey Him continues to grow as more is learned about God’s plan for mankind and about what it cost Christ to pay the sin penalty.

Christ will return again to gather all those who believe in Him unto Himself.

This historic Christian faith, which has shaped the course of nations and men’s lives, will withstand the challenges of today, just as it has for nearly two thousand years. To make it known to others, to honor God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ in worship, and to encourage one another in instruction, prayer and fellowship is the purpose of our activities.
